It’s quite satisfying to clean out all the tabs I’ve opened in Firefox throughout the day
When starting a new code base, I find it hard to type out v1 because all I can think about is all the cool features I want to eventually add
Holy shit! My little brother just got engaged. I’m super happy for him and his awesome finance … but also feeling really old.

It’s pretty weird to get a Facebook friend request by the guy who, as a kid, terrorized you back in the 3rd grade.
Nice to have our CI machine back up and running (HD crashed recently, but now it’s got TimeMachine & SuperDuper!. Fate only fools me once)

Incremental backup is addictive. I’ve used up all the space on my Time Machine partition and I’m quite sad it has to delete old backups now
Whew! @avdi and I just blew through a ton of quick fixes for the new website. Good stuff.
I’m seriously considering spending a fair amount of my refund check on a nice chair for programming. Any suggestions?
Anyone ever use XSlimmer to shrink (& maybe speed up) OSX apps? I’m short on hard drive space and considering it
Thus, my meals are getting increasingly weird as I run out of key ingredients. Dinner tonight: Baked beans & Boca crumbles on a hot dog bun.
We’re moving soon (to another apt in Boulder), so I’m trying to eat all the food in our kitchen so I don’t have to move it.
Currently in merb dependency hell
Hanging out in the backyard of Trident. I’ve never been out here before, but it was so packed inside my choice was made for me.
I suck badly at multi-tasking on the computer. Which is why I hate long-running tasks I have to check on … you know, like unit tests

Gmail “Undo send” just saved my butt (again)
I’ve been walking in between meetings in SF today. Good news: I’ve been burning off the calories from meals. Bad news: my legs are dying now
Watching the first episode of TechStars TV http://www.techstars.tv/
I added an iPhone app today that brought me to my 4th screen of apps. That’s too much. Tap tap revenge got voted off the island
Whew - San Francisco is hot tonight
Hanging out at a SF coffee shop … waiting to go out to dinner w/ @foodzie
Hanging out between meetings at the @foodzie office in SF. The office is awesome, Em & Rob rule, & they’ve got a cool dog. I’m a happy man.
After playing around with iCal/gCal for about an hour, I think I’ve finally got things set up in a workable way

I’m excited about a potentially awesome office setup
Lunch at the Two Spoons was excellent. Highly recommended.
RT @ddribin @twitter For all that is good and holy, *please* let me disable the new keyboard shortcuts on the web UI.
Devver is looking for companies with long-running Ruby Test::Unit test suites to try out our beta for free! Interested? Email ben@devver.net
It’s fun to see @avdi and @danmayer pair programming … unfortunately, I’m stuck doing email right now.
Illegal Pete’s potato burrito is delicious and now I require some caffeine to avoid food coma
RT @ignighter: The new Ignighter is live and looking sweet. Check it out! http://bit.ly/fdIP3
AT&Ts intl data plan is a decent deal, but check your bill when you return. Both @danmayer and I got overcharged by $100+. We had to fix it.
All the various setup for a new code base is always tedious. Even so, it was a good first day.
It’s @avdi’s 1st day at @devver. We’re all hanging out in Boulder this week getting him ramped up. @danmayer and I are super excited.
I went paintballing this weekend. It was a ton of fun, but now my legs feel totally destroyed. Going down stairs is an adventure right now
At dinner last night in SF, @bryce informed me of an In-N-Out Burger within blocks of our hotel, resulting in a midnight grilled cheese run.
If In-N-Out Burger would just come to CO, I wouldn’t feel compelled to make these poorly-thought out trips every time I was near one.
Back in Boulder after a fun and productive trip to San Francisco.
